M&M Cookies # 1st attempt

Fresh from the oven .

My first attempt of making M&M cookies.
Basically the ingredient is exactly same  with normal Choc Chip Cookies. We just need to replace the choc chips with M&M.

From my personal view , M&M it self didn't gave much flavor in it. Next time maybe I can add another ingredient in it to match with M&M it self.

Owh by the way, I've followed the recipe from Joyofbaking

Have fun and do enjoy your cooking :)

Till Then,Bye-bye

Ombre' Cake

 Hi!!
I want to make this cake for a long time ago but I didn't have suitable time for it.
Finally on Saturday , I've managed to make it. Wehooo.

During this R&D , I'm using new recipe " vanilla buttermilk cake " and I think it will replaced my old "vanilla cake".

The cake making it self was so easy but when came to decorating part, I am clueless!!

mixing the batter

I am using Fuchsia color code.

Lesson learn here. Next time I have to make sure the color ratio on each part. Layer 2 and 3 looks exactly the same.

The most challenging part. I tried on ruffles but my fondant didn't works . I have to roll and create a straight layer. Again, the fondant didn't works well.
If you noticed, you can see the cracks and the mishap.

I need to work more on fondant decorating I guess.

Til then, bye-bye

Red Velvet with Chocolate Ganache

Hi!

Wow it's being long paused here! I miss to bake and decorate cake so much. Now I'm in the midst of re organize and collecting new ideas and hopefully I can continue taking orders soon!!

Just a quick update. Last saturday i did baked a red velvet cake for my husband 29th birthday.

The cream cheese was out of stock . I looked around every shop near me but unfortunately they haven't. Lucky my sister bought 1 but it wasn't enough to cover up the whole cake.

Got an ideas from my previous cake , so I've combined both of ideas!!!

It turns really good and delicious! Owh yes!! Layered it with cream cheese and covered it with chocolate ganache .
